In keeping with the mission of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia to advance the cause of health, CEPI seeks to promote public health awareness through a wide variety of events, activities, and programs.
About the Section on Public Health and Preventative Medicine:
The Section on Public Health creates a forum for deliberation of relevant issues in public health, and provides information for the development of health policy. The Section brings together public health professionals from all across the region to study public health problems and assess potential responses. The Section is chaired by Robert G. Sharrar, MD, MSc.
Membership in the Section is open to all. Section Members pay dues that go toward the cost of programming and mailings to its members.
